Why drink it: It comes from the fair hands of JJ Goodman at the ever-delightful London Cocktail Club. It looks pretty spiffy too, and probably counts as one of your five a day.

A deft combination of Bombay Sapphire, Manzana (Spanish Apple), Velvet Falurnum (scrummy Caribbean syrup) and a good measure of 10 year old Ardberg amongst other things. This is one cocktail to offer up when trying to impress – as long as you can handle the garnish in the sophisticated manner that this grown-up cocktail demands. In other words, don’t drop it down your top.
